Splendid Hotel, very well located
I have been back to the Sukhothai time and time again and the experience never changes, always excellent. Staff are as you would expect in a quality hotel in Asia: very friendly, well trained and attentive without being intrusive. Great design, good bar and pool area and an excellent restaurant (The Celadon, classic Thai cuisine). Probably my favourite hotel in the world.
my favourite hotel in Bangkok - great value for money!
I have been visiting this hotel several times since 2012, and I must say it is my favourite in bkk. i loved the breakfast buffet, a lot of Asian and Western options, food by the pool is very good...but service slow! rooms are beautiful and modern, very spacious. i loved the rooms with a balcony and pool view. the restaurant Celadon (thai food) has a thai dance show on the evening...very nice!
The best place in Bangkok for staying in Bangkok Romantic, elegant, quiet and away of the crowded Bangkok Rooms are clean, nice and well equipped. Breakfast is served in buffet with a mix of Asia and continental dishes. Finally, the pool and restaurant by it are fantastic.
This is an amazingly beautiful luxury hotel. Attention to detail is everywhere - fresh flowers, artwork, truffles in our suite upon arrival. The room had a huge wow factor - we booked the deluxe studio but were upgraded to an executive suite - it was amazing and huge! The pool area, grounds and public area of the hotel are stunning. The concierge was very helpful and helped us arrange tickets to Muay Thai fights which was a unique experience. The only bad part of our stay is that we only stayed for one night as a stopover - I was kicking myself for not staying longer.
Ok, I have been in many hotels in the world, 5 stars or not. But honestly, this is an amazing hotel. Beds are great, food in all restaurants is amazing (please, try the buffet lunch and sunday brunch...), the service is high world class, the pool is great, etc. And for such a hotel, it actually is more than affordable! Our experience there was great, amazing, personal is super skillful, super nice, always with good advices. I highly recommend this place if you go to Bangkok!

The Sukhothai is one of the most elegant, classic and private hotels I have ever stayed at. The staff, who come to feel like family by the time you leave, make your stay perfect. The gardens, water features and classic Thai architectural elements coupled with elegance of the hotel are a meeting of East and West. I wouldn't think twice about going back and staying there again and again.
"Elegant, peaceful and excellent service. My favorite hotel in Bangkok."
The Sukhothai is a gem in Bangkok. High Quality standards, beautiful and elegant interiors. the Rooms are very comfortable, perfect to relax and to work. The swimming pool is beautiful, by not being on the roof top, which is pretty unique in Bangkok, it is green, spacious and has a peaceful ambiance. The restaurant is delicious, breakfasts has a large variety. The service is 4-5*, customised, caring and effective.
"It was the best moment ever! Everything was perfect like a paradise."
The room was very neat and calm even peaceful. I liked the bath room the most. You can beat it anywhere it was big and wonderful. Bathtub spa was nice also.
People were at hotel always smailed and I loved their smailes which made me happy.
Break fast was also nice. Omelet was quite soft and really awesome.
I cannot decribe all the things here, just go there and relax there.
"Great spacious rooms"
This hotel will not make you feel like you're inside a crowded city with all the greenery.
The rooms are nice and spacious and the staff will pamper you throughout your stay.
The hotel is really close to the metro station which is useful during the daytime due to the congestion on the roads.
This is truly an oasis in the otherwise bustling city that is Bangkok. Sprawling property, with lots of water and green. Some parts of the hotel are a bit dated but the rooms are spacious, well appointed and tastefully decorated. The service was impeccable. No negatives, really.
"Outstanding service and staff. Top quality hotel. Comfortable. Excellent restaurant"
We stayed for 2 nights for a memorable stay. We had two large rooms which were supremely comfortable and luxurious. The Celadon restaurant was simply superb. I celebrated a birthday there, and was presented with TWO cakes; at dinner, and also the following day at tea time. My daughters were delighted and really impressed! The staff are superb and extremely courteous. The pool area was lovely to swim in and also just lounge around. The Gym was very impressively equipped. Highly recommended.
